- Young Scientists of America (YSA)

This program is designed to send undergraduate students to area schools to talk about careers and training in technology, science and engineering.
- Engineering Summer Program (ESP)
- ESP is a seven-week residential summer program for high school students of color and women. The program explores career opportunities and prepares students for college.
- Engineering Saturday for Tomorrow's Engineers at Madison (ESTEAM)
- This invitation-only program is designed to allow high-ability high

- Camp Badger Exploring Engineering Program
- One-week residential program for Wisconsin teenagers who will be entering 8th grade in the fall. An opportunity to survey many types of engineering fields and begin to see the study of science and math as a path that can lead to great careers.

Engineering Tomorrow's Careers (ETC)
- A program to stimulate the interest of women the fields of engineering and the sciences.
- Graduate Engineering Research Scholars (GERS)
- The GERS Committee and the College of Engineering strive to give graduate students every opportunity to challenge the boundaries of the familiar to reach new heights in the exploration of both personal and professional goals.
- Opportunities in Engineering (OPPS)
- The Opportunities in engineering conference creates an opportunity for outstanding undergraduate juniors and seniors to visit the UW-Madison campus and explore graduate programs in engineering.
- Student Leadership Center
- Our staff is here to provide engineering students with answers to their questions regarding the many student organizations and programs designed to turn CoE students into effective future leaders. We invite you to stop in the SLC and say hello. Come learn how to get the most out of your experience here at UW-Madison.
- Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) & Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)
- The program provides students with opportunities that build on their interest in science and engineering careers. Participants conduct a research project under the direction of faculty mentors and work as members of laboratory research teams investigating problems in engineering and the physical sciences in an academic environment.
- Junior Science, Engineering and Humanities Symposium (JSEHS)
- JSEHS invites high school students to conduct an original research investigation in the sciences, engineering, or mathematics, and to participate in a regional or state symposium sponsored by universities or other academic institutions.
- UW-Madison College of Engineering Distance Education: Office of Engineering Outreach
- The Office of Engineering Outreach videotapes selected technical courses on campus and mails the videos to "distance learners" around the world in addition to offering internet-based courses.
- Nano All Around Us
- Nano All Around Us is an exposition that was held May 29-31, 2003, to host a technical conference and give the general public an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in nanotechnology, discuss its emerging role in key industries today and tomorrow, share methods for teaching about the nanoscale, and experience nanotechnology firsthand through tours, demonstrations and presentations.
- Materials Research Science and Engineering Center on Nanostructured Materials and Interfaces (MRSEC)
- MRSEC works to enhance public appreciation of science and engineering through a central theme of "Exploring the Nanoworld" by distributing information to novice learners over the web, making presentations to the public, and contributing to popular publications and media.

- K-12 Outreach Programs
- K-12 at UW-Madison features a keyword search by title, subject, or grade level for any resource listed in its extensive database. K-12 Outreach Programs is a gateway to university resources that are useful for teachers, students, parents, and anybody else involved or interested in K-12 education. K-12 at UW-Madison has links to information on outreach programs, partnership programs, events, activities, information on a specific topic, lesson plans, courses, professional development, and much more.
- Badger State Science and Engineering Fair

The Badger State Science and Engineering Fair will be held March 15, 2008, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Future dates are March 28, 2009; March 27, 2010; and March 26, 2011. The Capital Science and Engineering Fair, a regional fair connected with the Badger State Science and Engineering Fair, will be held on February 23, 2008, in Madison.
- Continuing Studies at UW-Madison: Youth Program Directory
- Expanding Your Horizons
- Middle school girls come to Expanding Your Horizons conferences to learn about the wide range of career options for women in science, engineering and math. Through hands-on workshops and visits to work places, they find out what it's like to work in different careers. Student participants have a chance to interact with professional women who work in a variety of fields. They also have a chance to meet other girls who share their interests.
- College for Kids
- Students are recommended by school districts to participate in this exciting and diverse three-week learning experience, which develops and challenges the talents of highly motivated students. You interact with peers in creative thinking, team building and problem solving; and gain exposure to campus life, resources, and UW-staff and faculty.
- Lilith Computer Group
- The mission of the LCG (includes the Lilith computer fair and lilith computer clubs), a grass roots, community based partnership, is to provide fun and supportive environments in which school-aged girls can explore the creative possibilities of computer technology.
- K-Through-Infinity (KTI)

KTI, funded by the National Science Foundation, is a program that provides graduate students with fellowships to work in partnership with teachers to enhance math and science instruction in the classroom.
